Crystal....sorry to hear you found a jerk. They are not ALL like that, but unfortunately, many are. Your soul mate will appear when you least expect it. Your story sounds like one of the acts that Liv acted in her last play. It was called, The Rules" and it was just as you talked about. The boy felt that it was his "right" to "certain physical contact". It was a powerful thing to think about and hopefully, showed some of the young men in attendance the correct way to be. I am glad that you got out of there! Actually, I met lots and lots of guys like that before I met Todd. That is one of the reasons I fell for him.....he made friends with Amber first and he did not push for a sexual relationship right away.

I am up and doing my morning computer work. After my shower, I have to run David to work then go to Freeport for a meeting and a few other errands. Home to do some planting then Awards Night for Olivia. I am excited to see if she won any scholarships.

I posted yesterday and dont see it??? Weird. Yesterday I watched the grandbabies all day and then in the evening went to a retirement home and sang worship songs and prayed with the tenants. It was lovely. I havent done that in such a long time.
Today I am going to the Chiropractor. I was rear-ended late Monday afternoon by an off duty Lockport police officer. I am feeling a bit stiff in my lower back and think I need some adjusting. I drive a 10 year old Volvo, so my dinasaur did not have even have a scratch luckily. His car was so bad he looked like he was going to cry. We exchanged info and I was on my merry way.
Crsytal I recently watched a show on cable about how men view online dating. It showcased 10 men who are using online dating as a tool to have sex on the first date. Apparently because of this, men are expecting that now and get angry when a woman isnt on the same page. Also, I know how this incident can cause you to long for Chris, but try not to compare the two. There is someone out there for you. I promise.
Gotta run, I am trying to catch the trash dude before they come. I can hear them, so I must skidaddle.

I have been a bit down and it's my own fault. When I posted on Facebook i had a date Friday...it was a double date. It was ok the problem was the guy was very persistent and I said ok to a second date. I should have went with my gut and said no. But the guy was nice and I thought if I'm going to move on I need to start dating. Well this guy acted like a jerk!!! He made it clear he wanted to have sex and when I made it clear that wasn't going to happen he got mad!!!! When I got home I told my friend...do you know what this jerk told my friend (she fixed us up). That I sent him mixed messages!!! Ummm...I said no several times...how that is mixed messages I'm not sure. Well this whole thing just made me miss Chris. He never acted like that....he treated me like a lady (at least in the beginning). So this whole thing just backfired...instead helping me get over him....it did just the opposite!!!
Since when do guys expect sex on the second date!!! What happened to getting to know each other....getting comfortable with each other. This jerk said to me...you think you're all that!!! And I said..."you might not think so...but there is a man out there that will think so. And I don't need to come to him with crotch the size of the grand canyon because I slept with every a$$hole I went on a second date with!!!" And I left!!!! GRRRR!!!
So there is my first experience trying to get out there and date other people. Not a very good omen.
Well today I am running around to run errands after work. That is all. How about you guys

Im getting ready to go over the Bridges to Tampa! Crate and Barel is getting there rusted bakeware set back!
I got it in December for my birthday and when I washed it the nonstick came off and now it is rusted!

Good morning,
We are back from Indianapolis and the yarn wholesales convention where we spent a lot of money, walked our feet off and learned a lot! We also got to spend time with dear friends who live there which was totally refreshing and wonderful! Friends that you can talk to like you just saw them yesterday when actually it's been several years--amazing and a real gift!
When we got home we forced ourselves to go through everything and organize it, unpack, read the mail and papers so it doesn't take a week to unclutter the mess. Not our usual style, but wise. Today I have lots of phone calls and errands so that I can knit tomorrow.
We did well with food in Indy, but it's good to be home with our own yogurt and cottage cheese! LOL

Hi Peeps!
Yesterday turned out to be a meat loaf kind of day. Then I got a call about 7p from my daughter, Katie who was sobbing. All I got was "please come". When I got there, they all were sick with pink eye and God knows what else. I learned my daughter had suffered a miscarriage the day before and she was sick and weak and tired. Her and my son in law had been up all night the night before with sick kiddos. So this Oma put her Super Oma cape on and dug in and babied them all. I am about to leave again for over there to take care of them. I am bringing my trusty home made chicken soup and hoping it performs a miracle.
I have my Christian Recovery Meeting tonight. I just recently started going to eal with my food addictions and my "other issue" That is something we will discuss another time.

Another Monday...BLAH!!!
I had a nice weekend. And later this week we are in for some nice weather. I can't wait!!!I think I will take a nice stroll in the forest preserve after work or something...on those days.
Today after work I have a friend coming over for dinner. I am making chicken parmesan casserole...it's really easy to make so I don't have to worry about making a big meal after work. And except for the cheese it's pretty low cal. So what in store for you guys today???
Nancy- you should take pictures of this catio. I try to picture it in my head...but I would love to see the real thing.
